LMU Open Science Center
The interdisciplinary LMU Open Science Center (OSC) is a researcher-led university-wide initiative dedicated to promoting open, responsible, and reproducible research practices at LMU Munich, and beyond, through training, consultation, community-building, and meta-research.
The OSC supports researchers with practical questions on research data management, FAIR data and code sharing, and data anonymization, but also study planning and reproducible workflow.

The OSC promotes the above mentioned topics through:
Training
- Workshops & yearly Open Science Summer School: Sign up for upcoming events or review the materials from past events.
- Self-Learning Catalog: Learn new skills through self-paced tutorials and lecture recordings.
- Switch-to-Open Program: training and consultation program for research groups: Adopt an open research cycle handbook to facilitate quality assurance and onboarding new members in a research team.
- Train-the-Trainer Program: Obtain pedagogical skills to teach open research practices and use ready-made teaching material.
