Open Science Center

The interdisciplinary LMU Open Science Center (OSC) is a researcher-led initiative with the mission of promoting Open Science practices at LMU and beyond. As a central knowledge hub, the OSC aims to provide support for researchers in all practical questions related to open science, including research data management, FAIR data sharing, and data anonymization.

Services

The Open Science Center offers a broad portfolio of services, including key aspects of research data management. Their services include the following:

Workshops 
to embed open research practices in researchers’ workflow:

  • Open Access (preprint, postprint)
  • Research reproducibility (e.g. programming, reproducible manuscripts, version control)
  • Research data management and FAIR data sharing
  • Study planning (pre-registration, registered reports, power analyses, data simulation)
