The LMU Center for Digital Humanities (ITG) defines itself as a DH competence and data centre with the following areas of responsibility

Research data management

The ITG is responsible for concepts, planning, procurement and services in information technology. It supports the Humanities and Cultural Studies faculties in digital research and teaching in the field of Digital Humanities, and practises sustainable research data management in line with the FAIR principles. On the basis of an interdisciplinary concept, it cooperates closely with the Humanities disciplines in numerous Digital Humanities projects and promotes dialogue between the humanities, computational linguistics, computer science and statistics.
