Scientific disciplines

The type, scope, and definition of research data vary greatly depending on the discipline. For this reason, close coordination and cooperation with the individual disciplines or subjects are essential to achieve subject-specific research data management.

This section summarizes subject-specific information, services, and best practices from the faculties of LMU Munich. Since the institutionalised handling of research data – not only at LMU Munich – is still under development, not all faculties and departments are currently represented here.
