Natural sciences

Research in the natural sciences generates large amounts of data in diverse formats. Consequently, research data management plays a central role in ensuring the traceability, reproducibility, and transparency of research results. LMU Munich offers a wide range of services and offerings to support researchers in dealing with research data in the natural sciences.

The institutionalised handling of research data is still in the development phase both at LMU Munich and in the broader scientific community, so not all faculties and institutes of natural sciences are currently represented here.
